Stuart, Florida - Ocean Gate General Contractors recently pledged $2,500 to the Young Friends of the Florida Oceanographic Society. The group will utilize the funds to promote its mission "to protect, preserve, and restore Florida's ocean and coastal ecosystems through education, research and personal stewardship."

 

This donation represents another part of Ocean Gate General Contractors tireless commitment to support organizations that improve the environment and opportunities for those who live throughout the Treasure Coast. The gift, along with similar contributions from other local companies, will bolster the Young Friends efforts to increase awareness about the need to preserve our environment and the Florida Oceanographic Society.

The Young Friends of the Florida Oceanographic Society are a group of young adults, ages 20s to 40s, environmentally engaged and dedicated to preserving the environment and raising awareness for the Florida Oceanographic Society.
