Stuart, FL - The School District of Palm Beach County has added Ocean
Gate General Contractors, Inc. to their list of company’s to provide disaster
recovery services. Ocean Gate earned its place on the
prestigous list through the services the firm provided during the 2005 and
2007 hurricane seasons that devastated
The District is currently securing the services of
firms to be ready for the upcoming season as a precautionary
measure.
Work will be assigned for each project as needed in the
event of a disaster. Ocean Gate will be ready, willing, and able to meet
the District’s requirements.
"Typically," said Ocean Gate President Mark MacDonald,
"we only think of hurricanes when FEMA is mentioned; however a disaster
can take many forms, and each will demand its own response and construction
means and methods. Today’s disasters include: Chemical Emergency, Wildfire,
Flood, Hazardous Material Incident, Terrorism, Tornado, and Tsunami.
Our involvement in a contract of this type encompanses the
restoration of community operations; as well as repair to damaged buildings and
structures. We stand ready to help."
