is proud to announce the addition of Steve Doran and Grant Wantshouse to the
position of Project Superintendent.
Steve Doran is a
seasoned project superintendent with a solid portfolio of successful
projects. He will provide onsite project management for a new Galaxy
Aviation hangar at the
Palm BeachInternationalAirport.
Steve began his career as a metal building contractor who learned his
craft from the ground up. To a self-mastery of metal buildings he
added successful medical projects, hospitality complexes, and large
development infrastructure installations.
Grant
Wantshoure joins Ocean Gate as a Project Superintendent, Grant brings
experience in welding, steel and sheet metal fabrication. During his
three years in the construction industry, Grant has renovated residential
projects from demolition through finish work.
Ocean Gate General Contractors,
Inc.., under the leadership of Mark MacDonald since 2001, has a large portfolio
of aviation projects with new contracts at the
Palm
BeachInternationalAirport, and
Nassau,
Bahamas.
We have built aircraft hangars throughout the State of
Florida, and now we add The Bahamas to

The
firm has developed processes to make their hangars more resilient to the severe
weather
Florida
experiences. “After the severe hurricanes of 2005 and 2006 we were very
busy repairing hangars at many airfields throughout the state. During
that time, we developed a more organic way of assembling the hangar allowing to
entire unit to be more resistant to strong winds. Many members of the
