Ocean Gate Continues to Grow Jobs


Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Patrick Vicknair to the position of Project Manager.  Patrick, a long time Stuart resident, joined the team in November, 2009 after a long tenure with Martin County where he provided project management, and oversight of design and construction.  He has been a tremendous asset to our team, and is ready to assume the responsibilities of Project Management.


Patrick earned his degree as a Landscape Architect from LSU, with additional course work from the University of Florida - Urban and Regional Planning Studies.     He has managed multi-discipline project development teams on behalf of Martin County Parks and Recreation Department, The State of Florida Department of Transportation, and the Florida Division of Emergency Management.  His particular area of expertise included streetscape designs, wetland mitigations and stormwater management enhancements.

 

Patrick will be the project manager for three upcoming park projects:

  • Atlantic Avenue Park, City of Delray Beach, Fl
  • Christenson’s Landing Park in Brevard County, Grant, Florida
  • And Pioneer Park in the City of Fort Pierce, Fl. 

 

Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc.., under the leadership of Mark MacDonald , has  amassed an impressive portfolio of park projects with municipalities, county’s, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.


Other park projects currently underway include Palm Beach County’s Southlands Golf Club in Boca Raton, two parks for the City of West Palm Beach, the Phipps Park and Currie Park Restoration, and Phase II of the Dan Calloway Park for the City of Riviera Beach, Fl.
