Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Celebrates Re-Opening of Martin County's Cummings Library
Date: 05-11-2009

PALM CITY, FLORIDA.    Martin County officially opened the Peter and Julia Cummings Library with a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning.  Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. built the two-story 21,504 square foot addition to the “old” Cummings library, giving the library a completely new hip presence for the residents and visitors of Palm City.  The bold architecture was designed by Stephen L. Boruff Architects + Planners, Inc., and has already won a design award.  “Working with Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. was a dream.  The project came together without any problems, meeting the schedule and the budget, and here we are today at the grand opening!” said RobCurto, project manager for the architect and a resident of Palm City.

“Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. has completed many projects for Martin County, but this is a signature project, and we are very proud of our achievement”, said Mark MacDonald, President.
