Palm Beach County has awarded Ocean Gate General Contractors, Inc. the contract to construct a new 7,857 square foot Southwinds Golf Clubhouse, and provide renovations to a 5,848 square foot cart barn.  The clubhouse will feature a catering kitchen, snack bar, lounge and wrap around covered veranda with outdoor seating.  A breezeway will connect the clubhouse to the Pro Shop and administrative offices. 

Saltz Michelson is the architect.  “We are looking forward to working with Ocean Gate, and to building a great project for Palm Beach County”, said Chu Novoa, R.A., LEED AP and architect for the project.  Ben Herd, LEED AP is the Project Manager for Ocean Gate, and Frank Couts, Project Manger represents Palm Beach County. 

This project represents the fifth contract award from Palm Beach County, a remarkable recognition of the abilities of a Martin County firm.
