Project managers will create a username and password for the owner of the project that they are assigned and will consistently update information as it becomes available. Privacy is very important to Ocean Gate and protecting client information is a top priority. The firm has taken all precautions to ensure that project information made available to clients through the site remains confidential. The new service enables Ocean Gate to further expand upon its client-first methodology by engaging clients through the website allowing for better and faster communication between the owner and the project manager.

 

The subcontractor login section of the site is currently underdevelopment for integration with new company software. It should be available for use in the near future. Once the new system is running, subcontractors will be able to create a username and password to gain access to current projects that Ocean Gate is bidding. Project plans can either be downloaded from the site or a subcontractor may request a printed version be mailed. This new feature stems from Ocean Gate’s green initiative goals to reduce paper usage in the office.
