Ocean Gate General Contractors was recently recognized as one of the top metal builders by Metal Construction News magazine in their March 2008 issue. The firm was listed as number 83 out of 100 companies in the 18th annual listing. Qualifications for this award were based on the total square footage and tonnage of metal buildings constructed in 2006 and 2007. Only company’s that act as building contractors were eligible to qualify for this feature.

 

Ocean Gate’s metal tonnage increased from 500 in 2006 to 772 in 2007. Total metal square footage increased from 82,000 square feet in 2006 to 124,090 square feet in 2007. Both rankings were listed in the magazine as well as a brief background about the company.
